This Gives Me Chills

...and, not in a good way.

So, I'm checking the site here

As I bloody well should have been doing a lot more than I have. I'm supposing "brainfart" is my best explanation.

This site was put up, and I was invited to be a member. I put up the odd thing, and linked a few more to my other site.

And immediately proceeded to just not bother as frequently as I should have. Hell, links aren't hard to post. I should have done at least that. Look at the date of the last post. Sep 30. Apparently I'm not the only one.

Are our reader numbers so bad that it's pointless to bother? Or are our reader numbers so bad because we HAVEN'T bothered?

How many writers do we have? Get off your ass and write. Remind people on your primary site that this exists. This was going to be a fun contribution, and MyBad, I'm just as guilty as the rest.

Seems as though we never got many reads, but the link is up right at the top of the page on my main site. WTF?

OH Congresswoman Accuses Trump of Inciting Terrorism

In the House hearing to investigate the cash transfer of funds to Iran, an Ohio Congresswoman - Joyce Beatty (D) accused Donald Trump of inciting terrorism.

LOVE to see if this makes the news.

Right now, Congressman Keith Ellison (D. MI) is carping about some Republicans meeting on Inauguration Day to "Vow to make President Obama a 1-term president".  He's calling the hearing a "theatrical performance".  The people testifying are carefully shading their answers to avoid answering the Republicans' questions, and - I could be wrong about this - the Democrats appear to be reading from talking points from the Administration.

Rep, French Hill (R. AK) is stating that they are there to try to gain some clarity about the transaction, which he says was inadequately explained by the Administration.

Boy, the people on the hot seat are scrambling to avoid naming those responsible.  Can't say who authorized - who signature was on the agreement. 

Hill looks good - polite, but pointed in his questions.

The ranking member of the subcommittee, Al Green (D - TX), is - again - focusing on the "plan" to GET Obama.

The poor man!  On the crucifix, and STILL suffering.

Moving Back to Blogger

I'm choosing to let my Wordpress blog site lapse.  Cost is a factor, as well as the fact that my plans are to re-direct my writing to books/articles, rather than blogging.

The purest of motives.

When Russia acts defensively, as it did in Georgia and Ukraine, it is accused of aggressive action, is sanctioned and punished. When the Western powers probe Russian borders with their warships and surveillance aircraft they claim that it is likewise aggression when Moscow scrambles a plane to monitor the activity. Washington in its own warped view is always behaving defensively from the purest of motives and Moscow is always in the wrong.^[1]

If there is one thing that characterizes official Washington it is sanctimony. Domestic, foreign, and 24/7.
