Why Do I Keep Thinking of This Scene?

This election is giving me nightmares.  What will happen if Hillary DOESN'T win?

OH Congresswoman Accuses Trump of Inciting Terrorism

In the House hearing to investigate the cash transfer of funds to Iran, an Ohio Congresswoman - Joyce Beatty (D) accused Donald Trump of inciting terrorism.

LOVE to see if this makes the news.

Right now, Congressman Keith Ellison (D. MI) is carping about some Republicans meeting on Inauguration Day to "Vow to make President Obama a 1-term president".  He's calling the hearing a "theatrical performance".  The people testifying are carefully shading their answers to avoid answering the Republicans' questions, and - I could be wrong about this - the Democrats appear to be reading from talking points from the Administration.

Rep, French Hill (R. AK) is stating that they are there to try to gain some clarity about the transaction, which he says was inadequately explained by the Administration.

Boy, the people on the hot seat are scrambling to avoid naming those responsible.  Can't say who authorized - who signature was on the agreement.

Hill looks good - polite, but pointed in his questions.

The ranking member of the subcommittee, Al Green (D - TX), is - again - focusing on the "plan" to GET Obama.

The poor man!  On the crucifix, and STILL suffering.

Arab-based cult of supremacy.

[Islam] in truth is not a Religion but an Arab based cult of supremacy that has like the Cancer it truly is spread across the globe aided more often than not by a Cabal of Saudi Arabia, the United Nations which incidently the Muslims and rogue States control by weight of numbers in the General assembly and of course the Marxist Left who are just like the Vichy French of World War Two and the Quislings of Norway and countless Treacherous traitors throughout History.[1]
Not just Arab-based, alas.

Moving Back to Blogger

I'm choosing to let my Wordpress blog site lapse.  Cost is a factor, as well as the fact that my plans are to re-direct my writing to books/articles, rather than blogging.

I will be posting at Right As Usual.

The purest of motives.

When Russia acts defensively, as it did in Georgia and Ukraine, it is accused of aggressive action, is sanctioned and punished. When the Western powers probe Russian borders with their warships and surveillance aircraft they claim that it is likewise aggression when Moscow scrambles a plane to monitor the activity. Washington in its own warped view is always behaving defensively from the purest of motives and Moscow is always in the wrong.[1]
If there is one thing that characterizes official Washington it is sanctimony. Domestic, foreign, and 24/7.

Here is a thought for you

And it can all be done with rhetorical questions.
What was the last thing we won? I mean, after years of conflict, 10s, 100s, of thousands of deaths on both sides. Have we done that since? How did we win that last big thing?
Our current enemy puts bombs on their own children to walk them amongst our people and then blows them up, not all of them, but enough. They strap on bombs of their own, and blow themselves up in the middle of market places, killing men women and children indiscriminately, to strike fear into our hearts so we will leave them. From there, they will come here. Not all of them, but enough.
How do we strike that fear into their hearts, so that they will leave us alone? We don’t want to possess their countries. We didn’t go there to conquer them, but they want to conquer us. Their “holy book” tells them to behead the infidel, to force their religion on all others or kill them if they won’t convert.
I, on the other hand, do not give a flying fuck what G/god/ess/esses you want to believe in or how you want to worship it/them, so long as you don’t try to force me to do it your way through fear.
I’ve said before, I am a pragmatist. I’ve also said those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it. And we all know about the Stockholm Syndrome. I don’t want to force my eclectic beliefs on them, and I damn sure don’t want them to force their devil worship on me. You do your thing, I’ll do mine, and if somehow we come together it’s beautiful.
You’ve got those who say not all of them are like that. Fine. If there are more that don’t than do, control the “radical” ones. If not, get ready to meet your true fate.
The last thing we decisively won was through massive destruction. By not using the fear that we will do it again if you don’t leave us alone, everything since 1945 has been our loss. We piss away billions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of lives, we lose the finest of our people and tuck our tails and run.
Do I want it? No. Is it necessary? It would appear so. That has been what was on my mind.
I’ve seen it, it is ugly, I don’t want to see it again. But if I must, then so be it.
